From the region of Puglia winemakers Conti Zecca and Locale head chef Paolo Barone present an informal and fun evening displaying the best of Puglian food and wine.
Conti Zecca is Puglia's top award-winner having won Gambero Rosso Three Glasses six times(for Nero).
This is a family own winery and agricultural farm. The family Zecca moved from Naples to Leverano in the 16th century.
The first member of the family Zecca born in Leverano was Giulio Cesare in the year 1584. There is a long history tradition of vine growing here.
Today the brothers Zecca (Alcibiade, Francesco, Luciano and Mario) are one of the few Apulian agriculturist who take care of the complete oenological process from grapes production to the bottle sale.
The winemaking team, led by Fernando Romano and consultant oenologist Giorgio Marone, has ensured that high quality is well spread throughout the superb range of this 300-hectare property.
The wines are truly sensational led by their critically acclaimed superstar blends Nero and Terra. Tasting notes are listed at the bottom of the page.
