Celebrate Christmas with us at Locale restaurants. Below is our Christmas 2009 menu. We also cater for canapé, buffet and drinks parties on request. All our restaurants are

We also wish to inform all our customers that we are open Christmas Day and Boxing Day everywhere except Locale Countyhall.

TO START

Pumpkin & Spinach Soup (v)

Served with freshly baked garlic and rosemary focaccia

Ravioli Vegetarian Con Salsa Di Pomodoro (v)

Vegetarian ravioli with tomato and basil sauce

Salmon Gravelax

Traditional cured salmon served with mustard dill dressing and rye bread

Chicken Liver Pate

Served with red onion relish and crostini

Funghi Ripieni Alla Ricotta, Spinaci Parmigiano (v)

Oven baked mushrooms stuffed with fresh ricotta, spinach and parmesan cheese

Prosciutto Crudo Con Rucola E Grana

Aged Parma ham with rocket and Parmesan shavings

 

MAIN COURSES

Roast Norfolk Turkey

Traditional fayre with all the trimmings

Pan Fried Duck Breast With Roasted Pumpkin

Served with grape sauce on a bed of celeriac mash

Salmon Fillet ‘al forno’

Warm potato, spring onion and French bean salad and sun-dried tomato dressing

Lamb Shank

Gentle roasted until tender and served with homemade mash and rosemary gravy

Gnocchi Al Pomodoro E Basilico Ricotta Salata (v)

Potato dumplings with tomato and basil sauce served with salted ricotta

Risotto Al Fungi Di Bosco (v)

Risotto with mixed wild mushrooms

Steak Tagliata (£3.50 supplement)

8oz sirloin steak chargrilled and sliced. Served with sauteed potatoes, sun dried tomato and a rich jus

 

DESSERT

Panettone Bread and Butter Pudding

Homemade and served with custard cream

Tiramisu

Savoiardi biscuits soaked in espresso with marsala, chocolate and mascarpone

Christmas Pudding

Served the traditional way
